Disappointed, yup, that's how we felt after knowing the results of American Idol Season 11. Hubby and I, we are rooting for Jessica Sanchez the whole time. Hubby even took giant effort in voting for Jessica online. Unfortunately, that did not help at all.
In fairness to Phillip Phillips, he is such a "cutie". I'm sure that's one big thing that helped him win. There's no comparison when it comes to his and Jessica's powerhouse voice. I have to admit though that his coronation song "Home" really hit the home run. That song did it!!!

I've seen her a few times in magazines but I did not pay much attention to her. But w hen I was watching Fashion Police one day, I saw Joan Rivers "Closet Raid" segment featuring Chrissy Teigen's closet. I was amazed when I saw her closet with lots and lots of shoes, and of course, swim suits. It turned funny when she showed her underwear drawer and it was EMPTY. Yup, it was empty because she does not wear underwear at all! Hmmm,naughty girl! I'm sure John Legend (her boyfriend/fiance) loves that.

I read a bit about her and found out she's Thai-Norwegian and she originally wanted to become a chef. I bet she would have been a good one too after I read her foodie blog "SoDelushios". John Legend should be thankful he's got a good one. Chrissy Teigen is not only a hot swimsuit model, she's also an excellent cook. I gotta try some of her recipes one of these days.

At 3 months old, Baby Dylan already loves watching Spongebob. Every morning while I'm fixing his milk and/or doing other things, I would just put him in the couch and turn the TV on to Spongebob show. He would be smiling,laughing and even screaming while watching it. As if he can understand what he's seeing. LOL!

Hubby bought these tanks tees for my father and brother in the Philippines. We are going to send some Balikbayan boxes to them and these are just some of the many things we bought for them. We got shoes, shirts,jeans and many more.

They specifically requested these tanks tees because they're perfect for the hot summer days in the Philippines. We got the assorted colors for them so it's not so boring. Hubby actualy had to go to another Walmart store because they ran out of the sizes we want at our local store. Hopefully, my father and brother will be happy with these tank tees.

Baby D's big sister came to see him for the first time since he was born. She came all the way from Nashville with her husband. They bought some baby boy clothes for Baby D but they are still a little bit too big for him. That's because we told them that if they do buy him clothes, better get him the bigger sizes because he's getting big fast.

So, here's his clothes courtesy of big sister and hubby. It's cute that they kinda match with some if his other clothes.

Wow!, for the first time, I can finally greet myself "Happy Mother's Day!". Today is my first time to celebrate this very special day. It is extra special beause today Baby Dylan turned 3 months old too. So really it's just been 3 months since I officially became a mother. Let me tell you, it's feels so great and so fulfilling. Yeah, it an be stressful and tiring too. But when I see my baby smile at me or hear him make cute baby noises, I can't help but be happy and thankful for my blessings.

I was not expecting to get anything today. I never really want anything in particular (well,maybe a new pair of shoes or a purse). LOL! But a day before Mother's Day, hubby went somewhere I don't know because when I asked him where he's going, he just answered "I have no idea". He came home with a box of Krispy Kremes. The next morning, I found two big boxes waiting for me at our dining table. And these are my Mother's day gifts; ZeroWater filtration system so I don't have to drink bottled water all the time, and KitchenAid food processor. It's amazing how hubby knows what I want and need. I am a happy wife and a happy mom!

Hubby bought these yummy chocolates especially for my mother. We are going to put these in our Balikbayan boxes that we are about to send to the Philippines. Aside from these, we already have 2 big bags of assorted chocolate candies plus another bag of Hersheys Nuggets. Actually, Mama requested some Toblerone bars but we know these ferrero Rochers are way better than Toblerone. So hopefully, my mother will love them as much as we do.

As Dylan grows everyday, he also need toys to entertain him. So I decided to buy him an activity gym. This Bright Starts Lion Ativity Gym got a lot of good consumer reviews that's why I went for it. I got it for about 25 dollars at Walmart.com. Good thing I can find a lot of things that I need from their website. So whenever I get paid from my blogging works, I always make a little online shopping for things/stuffs Dylan need.

Aside from the toy, I also bought a rubber pad to put on the floor so it won't be too hard for Baby Dylan. I just put his toy on top of the pad and it's good to go. he really enjoys his new toy. He loves looking at himself at the baby mirror that came with it. And after just one day, he was able to pull the ring to make the lady bug play some music. I'm glad it keeps him entertained.

It's time for me to color my hair again. I see my grays coming and sticking out already. This time around, I decided to try a different brand of hair color. Instead of my usual Clairol Nice N Easy, I decided to try Garnier Nutrisse Hair Color Foam. This may sound funny but I decided to do that after seeing Tina Fey's commercial for this brand. So with fingers and toes crossed, I used it.

Fortunately, this brand did not disappoint me. It's actually better than Clairol Nice N Easy that I usually used. I think it's less messy and the color does not stick stubbornly in my scalp. So I guess I will be sticking to Garnier Nutrisse, thanks to Tina Fey's endorsement. LOL! Sorry Clairol...

I was checking Yahoo OMG's Too Hot To Handle feature, when I saw a very elegant-looking woman. The caption said she's Colbie Smoulders. To be honest, I haven't heard of her or seen her show/movie. But what she's wearing caught my attention. I love the color of the dress especially the embellished sleeves. The accessories she wore matched her outfit perfectly. Too hot to handle indeed!

Baby D has some kind of rashes in his face and forehead. His pedia told us that it is baby eczema which is very normal and common to baby boys his age. She told us that it will go away on it's own. But she suggested using Cetaphil to help it disappear faster. I tried doing her first suggestion which is to apply a little bit of Johnson's baby lotion on the affected area. After doing that for about 2 weeks without any positive results, I decided it's time to try the Cetaphil products.
I asked hubby to get the moisturizing cream and the cleansing bar. He was surprised at how expensive they are. The moisturizing cream was $10.77 while the cleansing bar was $3.57 at Walmart. Hopefully they are worth the money. I really want Baby D's skin to clear up and be back to it's baby smooth condition. Hopefully soon...fingers and toes crossed. Lol!

Because we don't want to bring Baby Dylan to crowded places like the Walmart, hubby's been getting groceries by himself. I just make a list of what he needs to get at the store everytime he goes. But everytime he goes, he always pick additional items that are not in the list, therefore spending more than he wants to spend. I always tell him to quit doing that and stick to our "list", but he does it anyway.

He will tell me that he can't resist buying something else, especially if it's a "good deal". Just like this Faded Glory kids hat that he bought for Baby Dylan. He said D needs it when we go out of the house. Plus it was only $3.47. I guess that's a good deal indeed, so I did not complain. The only thing is, the hat's still too big for Baby D's head. Oh well, I guess he will just use it when it fits him perfectly.

A friend bought a cute coverall for Baby Dylan. It's so cute and I thought it would be nice if I can get a matching/similar one for hubby. I want to take a photo of hubby and Baby Dylan wearing their matching coveralls. So I went online and started searching for coveralls for men. So far, I found a few similar-looking ones but I want to keep looking. There may be something else out there. But if i can't find something else, I already have a few options in mind.

Hubby's niece owns a farm in Georgia. They have animals like ducks,chickens, pigs and horses. Her kids love to rides their horses. I would love to have horses in our farm too. Maybe someday we will have them. I know for sure that if we have horses, we will surely need saddle pads and other riding stuffs. Hopefully, we can finally move and live in our farm for good so we can have animals like horses too. It would be fun for sure!

When it comes to jewelries/accessories, I am more into earrings and rings. In fact, I have a lot of earrings and rings, I already gave away some. And when I give away some, I always make sure that I buy some more. The bracelets shown above will be given away too. When I bought them, I thought I will really like them and use them. But I was wrong! I guess I'm not really a bracelet girl. So instead of throwing them away or just keep them and collect dust, I think it will be better if I just give them away. Luckily, I know a few people who love bracelets, so I am going to give these to them.

Yes, I was quite impressed with Drugstore.com! This was my frst time to order something from this site and I'm very satisfied with them. I got those flip-flops from Wetseal for only 5 dollars each. Originally, they were $7.50 each but because they were on sale, I got $2.50 discount. That's why I bought two pairs in my favorite classic color of white and black.

Hubby likes to puff a cigar once in a while. I don't mind it and in fact, I actually like the smell of cigars compared to cigarettes. Sometimes, I would sniff hubby's cohiba cigars dominican before he would light it.The smell of good quality cigar in undeniable. Hubby consider smoking cigars a treat to himself because he likes to buy the expensive kinds. He said the expensive ones are always the good ones. Ah, I don't know about that because I don't smoke at all.

It's time to bring this out again and start using it. Even though I already lost most of my baby/pregnancy weight, I still need to lose a few more pounds and a few more inches in my belly. They said it's hard to get back my "flat abs" because of the C-Section, but I don't think so. I know this will help me tighten my belly muscles.

With patience and perseverance, I think I can do it. Even now, without exercising, my belly is almost back to my pre- pregnancy state. I don't really need to do much. I just hope I can achieve my goal before summer.

My brother once told me that he wants to learn how to play the guitar. I did not take him seriously because I thought it was just a phase he is going through. Then the next thing I know is he is already taking guitar lessons and looking to buy his first ever guitar. I don't know anything about musical instruments especially guitars but hubby does.He said Cordoba Guitars are worth the money and suggested my brother get one of those. Coming from a certified, talented musician, I guess that's an expert advice. LOL! So I told my brother to check those kind of guitars.

Being from a tropical country, I prefer warm weather to cold. I can't stand cold, winter weather that's why I don't like it when fall-winter season comes. I actually love it when it's hot. LOL! Hubby, on the other hand, can't stand hot weather. That's why when summer is here, he always crank up the AC and that makes me nag and complain> I always tell him "It's so cold in here". He suggested one time that I wear heated clothing inside the house. LOL! If he did not adjust the temperature in the house, I might have just done that.

Learn How To Weld...

If there is one thing that hubby really want to learn, that would be how to weld. He said if he knows how to do it, he will surely have a lot of things he wants to make. I told him that he needs to go to a vocational/technical school to learn that. But he said he will just ask his master welder friend to teach him. But first things first,he needs to get good welding equipment he can use while practicing and learning how to weld. Hopefully, he will become very good at it.
