Ever since I found out that the best ever rock band Bon Jovi is releasing a new album this November and ever since I've watched their "When We Were Beautiful" documentary, I can't stop listening to their timeless hits and watching their videos again and again and again...

I even printed off a picture of Jon Bon Jovi (the lead vocalist) and I must say I feel in love with him...again...hahaha...

Anyway, I just wanna share this very solemn performance of Bon Jovi singing "Hallelujah"...

Watch and enjoy!!!

Two Taylor's Tale...

Could it really be that these two Taylors; Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift is Hollywood's hottest new couple?...or is it just for publicity for their up-coming romantic-comedy film "Valentine's Day?...

Now I say there's nothing wrong if these two Taylors hooked up...besides they are both quite good kids...and both have been doing good in their chosen careers...so far...

Another undeniable fact it that these two are both good-looking young artist and they seem cute and perfect together...so far they have only been together in that up-coming movie and in this instant, they have been pictured while they went shopping and dining together...

But then again, this is Hollywood...

Power De-Clogger...

(Vinegar and Baking Soda Combo...)

Lately, "mine's" vanity sink and our shower drain has been having problem going down...the water goes down alright but it takes a long time to do that...so usually it will clog up before it will slowly drain...

"Mine" experienced this problem before but the de-clogger he used before is not that effective and that's why his vanity sink is clogged up again...now we have read about how baking soda and vinegar can effectively de-clog any stuffed/clogged drain or sink...so we decided to try it...

First, "mine" put the baking soda right into the hole in the sink...let it stand for a while...then he poured a generous amount of vinegar into it...Dang!...you cam actually see and hear the reaction of the vinegar and baking soda...he then flushed it down with hot water, and WALAH!!!his vanity sink is now de-clogged and it's been going down good since then...

So if you have the same problem, you can try this simple trick...

Coffee Anyone?..

Who does not love coffee?...I know some people don't drink coffee and they actually hate coffee pointing out it's bad effects to our body...but hey, almost every thing around us brings bad effects to almost anything these days...but,that's only my opinion...hehe...

Anyway, I do love coffee and my hubby love it too...and who wouldn't?...just the smell of freshly-brewed coffee with some French Vanilla cream on it is enough to wake me up and get me out of bed...well, come to think about it, that's what it's supposed to do...to keep people awake and alert especially those graveyard shift workers...

But I am not a graveyard shift worker...in fact, I don't work at all because I'm a stay-at-home wife...I just love coffee...that's it...

My Miley Cyrus' Shirt...

(My Miley Cyrus/Max Azria shirt)

Ok, I'm not really a big fan of Miley but I admit she's got some good songs that I like and I must admit she's quite successful in her chosen career too...but that does not have anything to do with why I bought one of her shirts in her clothing line at Walmart's...

I bought this shirt because I love the graphic design printed on it...the "my lips are sealed" thingy...I don't know but I really love this...and if I remember it right, "my lips are sealed" is the title of one of the gossip column in a Philippine newspaper...
My lips are sealed because I have a few secrets I'm keeping from some people and I'm not saying anything at all...haha...
Anyway, I also loved the above print which is found on the shirt's right lower back side...good thing this shirt comes in my XS size...I love it!...oh, in case you're wondering, it's just 7 bucks...

Red & Dotted Nail Art...

(My Latest Nail Art...)

Introducing my latest nail art...it's actually very simple but for me it looks so elegant...

Now, how did I achieved this simple yet elegant nail art?...First, I use Pure Ice Crimson nail polish as my base color...I applied two coats for this one to achieved my desired thickness and color...

Next, I applied one coating of Sally Hansen Diamonds on top of the crimson base to get the glittering/shimmering effect...

Third step is to put the swirly,S-shaped white dots using Sally Hansen Hard As Nails-Platinum and using a toothpick for the dot application...the toothpick will make putting the dots easier and having a perfect looking dot...

Lastly, I used Revlon's Clear Top Coat for a polished look...this is very easy to do and it look good too...you can try it also and you can even choose what color you want to use...EXPERIMENT!

Lake Guntersville Visit...

(Lake Guntersville, Alabama)

Today, we went to Guntersville, Alabama to visit "mine's" mother (my mother-in-law)...and to see my sister-in-law who came all the way from Georgia...my brother-in-law and his wife who live in Guntersville also was also there...

It was already lunchtime when we got there because it's a two-hour drive from our place so we decided to have lunch first before we go to see Mom in the nursing home she's in...so off we go to Top O' The River restaurant...it's a seafood place but they also serve other entrees like pork/chicken recipes and veggies, of course...though I'm not really fond of fish recipes, I truly enjoyed my shrimp meal...

After a hearty lunch we then went to see Mom and stayed there for a while before we head to my brother-in-law's grocery/drug store to pick up some things...then before we head back home we went by a public boat pier in the lake and had a little fun there checking the lake and the beauty around it...I actually saw some fishes in the clear blue water...after taking a few pics, we then head back home...

Abercrombie & Fitch...

I was introduced to this brand of clothing by a college friend of mine way back when I was still in Baguio City...this clothing is quite very expensive for my pocket and I can't surely afford it...but my friend who's an A-lister in Baguio sure do...and she was the one who gave my my very first Abercrombie & Fitch shirts...I must say I fell in love with A & F from then on...I love their fit and style...and they're very comfortable to wear...

When I got here in the US, the very first thing we needed to do for me was to go shopping for clothes...Boy!,that wasn't very easy because their petite size clothes here are still too big for my 4'11'' built...we have to go to many shops just to find the right sizes and fits for me...

Thankfully, we found Abercrombie & Fitch's clothing just fit me right...

Fruit-Loving Puppy...

Meet TINY TRICE...

She's our friend's 3-month old shih-tzu puppy...she loves to play with me whenever we go to their place to visit...and in this pic, she was trying to compete with me with the fresh pears I'm trying to pick up from the box...these pears are fresh from their own pear tree growing in their front yard...

When she saw me choosing what to get, she also went in and started smelling and licking some of the pears...and when she found the biggest and the ripest of them all, she then proceeded to bite and chew on it...

Pat, her owner, told us that she really like to eat pears and also fresh, uncooked okra...guess this puppy is a vegetarian...

My Favorite Perfume...

(My Dolce & Gabbana-The One)

This is the number one in my list of Favorite Perfumes...the other one on the list would be Victoria's Secret perfumes...Basically, almost all women love to use and even collect perfumes...

Wikipedia defined perfume is a mixture of fragrant essential oils and aroma compounds, fixatives, and solvents used to give the human body, animals, objects, and living spaces a "pleasant" smell...

The word perfume used today derives from the Latin "per fumum", meaning through smoke. Perfumery, or the art of making perfumes, began in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt and was further refined by the Romans and Persians. Although perfume and perfumery also existed in India, much of its fragrances are incense based...

Perfume types reflect the concentration of aromatic compounds in a solvent, which in fine fragrance is typically ethanol or a mix of water and ethanol. Various sources differ considerably in the definitions of perfume types. The concentration by percent/volume of perfume oil is as follows:

* Perfume extract (Extrait): 15-40% (IFRA: typical 20%) aromatic compounds
* Eau de Parfum (EdP), Parfum de Toilette (PdT): 10-20% (typical ~15%) aromatic compounds. Sometimes listed as "eau de perfume" or "millésime".
* Eau de Toilette (EdT): 5-15% (typical ~10%) aromatic compounds
* Eau de Cologne (EdC): Chypre citrus type perfumes with 3-8% (typical ~5%) aromatic compounds
* Splash and After shave: 1-3% aromatic compounds

Fragrance compounds in perfumes will degrade or break down if improperly stored in the presence of:

* Heat
* Light
* Oxygen
* Extraneous organic materials

Proper preservation of perfumes involve keeping them away from sources of heat and storing them where they will not be exposed to light. An opened bottle will keep its aroma intact for several years, as long as it is well stored. However the presence of oxygen in the head space of the bottle and environmental factors will in the long run alter the smell of the fragrance.

Perfumes are best preserved when kept in light-tight aluminium bottles or in their original packaging when not in use, and refrigerated to relatively low temperatures: between 3-7 degrees Celsius (37-45 degrees Fahrenheit). Although it is difficult to completely remove oxygen from the headspace of a stored flask of fragrance, opting for spray dispensers instead of rollers and "open" bottles will minimize oxygen exposure. Sprays also have the advantage of isolating fragrance inside a bottle and preventing it from mixing with dust, skin, and detritus, which would degrade and alter the quality of a perfume.
